TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to RecordFlex — Reflex Training Game (the "Application" or "Game"). By downloading, installing, or using our Application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Please review these Terms carefully before launching the game.

These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and RecordFlex ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately uninstall the Application and cease all use of it.

1. Agreement to Terms & Eligibility

By accessing the Game, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age, or have obtained explicit parental or legal guardian consent to do so. The Application is intended for users of all ages interested in cognitive reaction training, athletic agility preparation, and entertainment.

2. License & Intellectual Property Rights

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and personal license to download, install, and play the Application on a compatible personal mobile device owned or controlled by you.

All title, ownership rights, intellectual property, brand assets, naming conventions, custom SVG graphic designs, source code, game mechanics, and styling configurations within the Application (and this promotional website) remain the sole and exclusive property of RecordFlex and its licensors. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or monetize any elements of the Game.

3. Offline Sandbox & Local Game Scores

RecordFlex operates as an offline-first, zero-network utility. To ensure complete user privacy and latency reduction:

  • All game features, career progression metrics, reaction speed timings, and Personal Best (PB) scores are modeled, saved, and processed exclusively on your local device.
  • We utilize Android's local SharedPreferences framework to isolate your records.
  • We do not operate servers or databases to backup your scores. If your device is lost, damaged, wiped, or if you choose to clear the Application's storage data via Android settings, all high scores and unlocked tier progress will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered by us.

4. User Responsibilities & Play Guidelines

You agree to use the Application solely for its intended purpose: standard reflex and auditory reaction conditioning. You agree **not** to:

  • Use automated clickers, high-frequency touch simulators, macro scripts, or physical modifications to generate artificial or deceptive reaction times (e.g. sub-10ms results) in a way that manipulates the local rankings.
  • Bypass the built-in F1 false-start safeguards or exploit logic glitches for false visual bragging rights.
  • Represent yourself as the official developer or distribute modified, re-signed application packages (APKs/AABs) on third-party forums.

5. Disclaimers & Warranty Limitations

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or timing accuracy. We do not warrant that the reaction time statistics displayed in milliseconds are mathematically synchronized with hardware touch digitizer refresh rates to an absolute mathematical error bound, nor do we warrant that the game will operate seamlessly without local haptic or hardware hiccups.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, ASSOCIATES, OR LICENSORS OF RECORDFLEX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEVICE OVERHEATING, BATTERY DRAIN, DISAPPOINTMENT IN COMPETITIVE SCORES, OR PHYSICAL STRAW FINGER INJURY ARISING FROM ENERGETIC TAPPING, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

7. Play Store Compliance & Policy

These Terms are intended to supplement the standard Google Play Store Terms of Service. In the event of a direct conflict between these Terms and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement or standard Google Play Terms, the Google Play terms will govern.

8. Term Amendments

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. If an amendment is published, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this webpage. Continued use of the game following updates constitutes your agreement to the new Terms.
